Seems to me that his son, Brandon, has made a better job ridiculing the celebrity obsessed society with his rather unbelievable "AntiViral".
But hey, this is David Cronenberg. I might just give him the benefit of the doubt (even though his last 2 films, Cosmopolis, and A Dangerous Method, both of them bored me to death).
