Whine, whine, whine. The 'Damon or nothing' fanboys are sad. Damon dropped out, he wasn't forced out at gunpoint and if they are able to tell a compelling story without him, why the hell not? The whining would have more crediblity if we'd all seen it and people were making informed criticisms. As it is, this is the cinematic equivalent of throwing one's toys out of the pram because you're favourite character isn't in something. Feel free to not see it and gripe at home but leave the rest of us movie-goers to enjoy it.

You could not be more off; people love Matt Damon, and he is a far more proven actor than Jeremy Renner, however good you wanna argue Jeremy Renner is. Bourne is not bourne without Matt Damon.

If they wanted to avoid "cheesy" then they shouldn't have flown Renner all over the place on wires. Who is he, spiderman, or tarzan, I can't decide. Ridiculous.

Last night after the trailer some guy in my theater yelled "where the eff is Matt Damon!". Me too dude. I hate they gave Renner super strength.
