It was a film that was once almost considered for straight-to-DVD. Warners sold it to Fox Searchlight cause they figure it was doomed!

You know how pissed the rest of hollywood must be that they spent $millions on their big Oscar bait and yet this little film is going to take it? It’s probably the biggest indie revenge in the history of Oscar if it does happen this way.
