Where is Dame Maggie Smith and the Lady in the Van?She\’s arguably (nah, inarguably) the world\’s greatest living actress. Macbeth? Simone Signoret (whose English was much better than Cotillard\’s) couldn\’t handle Macbeth, I think Cotillard will struggle with the verse and the role of Macbeth himself – that\’s a crappy role, ask any Shakespearean actor.

Brooklyn has touched me but its hard to see it in any awards race,definetely not for its actors, academy is known for ignoring films like these. I dont know about other roles but Jennifer has a huge chance,the script is really good,but i hope for her sanity sake she shud be happy to get a nomination and make critics happy, she has a long list of extraordinary roles in the pipeline and i am sure she will do great stuff as she gets older.
