If it wasn’t well-documented in the press why Chastain and ZDT got dragged down by politics in the Academy (Who came out and said “Don’t vote for it!”) you could throw the “Different point-of-view” garbage in my face, but it was a fact. Being in a movie for 82 minutes defies the whole idea of a supporting nod. Anthony Hopkins was in Silence of the Lambs for just over 15 minutes. Now that was a supporting role.

Tulip Fever has been sitting on a shelf for four years. Anyone who has seen it has said it is dreck. Hence the shelf’s love for said scented movie, which, reportedly, has more of a skunk smell. Not surprising for movies that collect dust on shelves.

Fuck you’re stupid. Get a job that suits you instead of pretending to be something you’re not. Downplaying Winslet’s Supporting nod as though her career has fallen on hard times, is laughable. Not to mention your cluelessness about Chastain’s other film, The Death and Life of John F. Donovan. Oh wait, you guys hate Xavier Dolan. So clearly Chastain will be awful in it because the director sucks. The Playlist’s bias and cattiness grows more disconcerting by the minute. What the fuck happened?

I agree with you about The Immigrant but I honestly think that The Master is his best movie and performance 🙂
