I\’m excited to see this and hear the soundtrack! Alex Turner is an amazing musician. If you have the chance you all should look up the bands he\’s involved with (Arctic Monkeys, The Last Shadow Puppets).

Where does homage cross the line into rip-off? I didn\’t notice the Harold visual reference but the clips I\’ve seen from the film look like this guy worships Wes Anderson. Which is nice, but why go out and make a Wes Anderson movie if you\’re not Wes Anderson? Or a Hal Ashby movie if you\’re not Hal Ashby?

I must admit, while I\’m greatly looking forward to this film, anything that seems Wes Anderson-like scares the life out of me in that i think it can potentially be hyper-loathsome. So I\’m cautiously optimistic.

Cool news; genuinely do not intend any offense but I\’m sorry my heart screams, \”Ouch that\’s a Harold knock off\” aka Bud Cort. Direct rip of the iconic amazing protagonist\’s aesthetic in the great Hal Ashby\’s, \”HAROLD AND MAUDE\”!! The hair, the suit and tie..the affected wide eyes. Harold 1.0…or 0.8, since the vibe, look and theme of this character have endlessly-endlessly been [borrowed].
