I\’m totally on board with anything Alexander Payne does but this is one lame-ass poster! Come on Al, couldn\’t you and the marketing team come up with anything better than this?

clooney isn\’t very versatile actor however knows who should he work with and after ER he earns a lot of credibility.

One thing I really like about Clooney these days is how he manages to avoid picking tentpole films (except for the Oceans trilogy) and he\’s been working with great, established directors like the Coens and Soderbergh (and Payne to a lesser extent) as well as the up-and-comers with fewer films under their belt like Reitman, Gilroy, and Corbijn. He knows how to pick them.

He\’s not an incredibly diverse actor but he makes up for that by continually choosing interesting material to work with.
