The third-act of NOAH, and really throughout the whole film, didn't really portray him as nice as people probably expected. I didn't even know at one point who I was supposed to be rooting for. Haha. That must be the "controversial" part.

Whoa! American Horror Story is torture porn! 12 Years a Slave is disturbing and terrifying. NOAH is flat-out Superb! But I didn't view it like Passion. It was just an epic, epic film.

I'm really surprised nobody mentioned the aspect ratio shift in the new trailer when they were talking about how Wes Anderson takes you out of a movie with his style. The "yeah dude we get it" do you really get slavery? I'm not really sure you can until you have lived it and you never will so you will never get it. You feel like he is holding your face in shit but you think it's an important movie for humans to see? The most important movie you need to see about slavery brought to you by Fox Studios am I the only one who has a problem with that?

Really, the hip-hop influenced "Real Gone" sounds like "Rain Dogs"? The folk rooted "Mule Variations" sounds like "Rain Dogs"? Tom Waits is one of the few music artists that has, at his age, managed to remain fresh and try new things. Yes, he usually has a spoken word track or two, a ballad or two, but many of his albums have a distinctive sound. Even"Frank's Wild Years" sounds very different, released only two years after "Rain Dogs".
