I still think ERW is stuck playing angsty daughter roles, the day she plays something completely different to that, that will be her breakthrough. Regardless, she is my bestest actress eva. As is Thirteen my bestest movie eva.

I still cannot wait to see Rachel Getting Married, I watch the trailer at least once a day. At least.

i liked Thirteen as a movie, but wasn't entirely convinced she wasn't just playing herself. I'll give him "Down In The Valley" though. I kinda forgot about it and it didn't impact me that much. It actually makes me want to see it again. And I did revise the piece to mention Begadeau, that was a total slip on my part, totally intended to include him.

There was another obvious one i missed Rachel DeWitt. The next edition will include them both.

Basically I have seen bits and pieces of the stuff you have written here, what I have seen I agree with, what I don’t I look forward to seeing eventually, but I must agree with Guy…

Evan Rachel Wood was fucking robbed in 2003 for an Oscar for “Thirteen,” and she is one of the finest actresses of her generation. Nice to see you giving her love anyways.

I’d say that, following “Thirteen” and “Down in the Valley,” pretty much everyone knew Evan Rachel Wood could act.

Props for including Elsa Zylberstein. Staying in France, I’d add Francois Begaudeau onto your list for his wonderful screen debut in “The Class.” Playing oneself isn’t as easy as it sounds.
