I am sooooooooo bummed! i have been waiting for the next movie in my FAVORITE movie franchise for way too long now. i don't understand why they are letting the POTC fans down. Why let their younger fans grow old and move on from these fun films? why let JD get old, i know the last was the least popular but duh…. A great story can't always outdo itself over and over. there are aspects of each one that is appealing to different generations, and those who appreciate this story line and Disney movie magic just want the next movie in good time. Why make us wait sooo long- its torture.

Into The Woods is a small budgeted movie and there's many people excited to see it, I don't think it'll fail.

I bet it will be shooting the next year anyway. In the same fashion than Alice 2 is shooting two years before the release. Johnny want to retire. He said he's only waiting to end his contracts (black mass, alice 2 and potc 5) to take his much awaited break.
Disney placed it on 2017, because it's obvious they won't be releasing this movie along with Alice 2 in the same summer 2016
Also, sorry, but Johnny is the wolf in "Into the woods", he's in the movie like 5 minutes. It's like a cameo, if that movie fails will likely be for many other reasons and not for his 5 minutes
