Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet together again? Haha. And I never before quite realized how hard David Spade is trying to look cool.

And also, you guys are snobs. It turns people off, even loyal readers like me. And I even agree with you most of the time, but I don't act like an elitist. You complain about not being considered a bigger film blog so that you can go to festivals, etc, but your attitude just drives readership away. How about not reporting things that you're just going to mock?

I sheepishly admit to being an Adam Sandler apologist. But this looks like a giant shit sandwich. This looks like Sandler is trying to turn into Eddie Murphy with family/kiddie fare.

I think "The Kid" is one of the better Disney live-action films of the 2000s, and you can do a lot worse in the way of rom-coms than "While You Were Sleeping." That being said, the "National Treasure" films are pure dreck. So, Turteltaub isn't all that bad.

Why are you guys such dicks? I like your blog, but can't stand 95% of your opinions towards the majority of the non-indie films that come out. Granted, there is a lot of bullshit that gets released, but I'm starting to wonder if you are just the kind of people that would rather hate on something instead of enjoy it for what it is. I will continue to check it, but can't get over your unrelenting snobbishness.
