Oh yes TDKR supporting cast for Oscar .Why not nominate Gary Oldman again in supporting for his great and underappreciated turn as Comissioner Gordon and make up the mistake that he lost last year his Oscar to Jean Dujardin? ;P

I hope to see a few surprise nominees .It looks almost like itÂ´s allready decided who Â´ll get in and we are in mid october …..

Two actors and performances I will root for right here but there's almost no way either will win, and not because of their quality but because they don't fit in to what Oscar voters usually go for. Playlist is Right in saying it'd take one of the other big releases stumbling for one of these to break though.

Oscar is such bullshit!! One studio decide : oh let's put a clearly SUPPORTING actress in another category so we don't mess with other studio plans…
It's pathetic how the studios and producers control the oscars like that. I always knew it but it makes me angry everytime .

James Franco for the WIN, especially since his performance WILL be remembered as future a classic (not just for the moment). He was truly amazing in Spring Breakers and totally different to what some websites are saying regarding similar to Matthew McConaughey. He's appearance alone is an outstanding transformation, plus his acting and the singing (HIGHER LEVEL that's why is part of a FUTURE CLASSIC). He should win just for his "Everytime" Britney Spears number ALONE.

I'm also surprised that you find it a surprise that Spring Breakers is in the mix. Look at the work of the unique Director plus the fact James Franco is one of the best actors of our generation and it's not a surprise.

I would also like to add that I didn't like the way you and some other websites have hinted "already a nominee (for "127 Hours"), but this seems like a longshot unless one of the major movies in the next few months stumbles very, very hard". It's as if you have all made judgment that he is out BUT you still have to report. What about the list of below actors for some who have "already" been nominated various times and even some have won (more than once). I noticed when it came to them your wording from this website and others were different?

Why IS HE the longshot and not some of the others? When he GAVE BETTER performance? Unless, the Oscars is truly FIXED, I don't see why it should be given that Philip Seymour Hoffman (especially) Robert De Niro "Silver Linings Playbook," Leonardo DiCaprio "Django Unchained (especially)," Matthew McConaughey "Magic Mike," Russell Crower "Les Miserables," Tommy Lee Jones "Lincoln", or others are truly safe bets. To my knowledge, it should be WIDE open but I'm already sensing that certain websites are trying to dismiss James Franco performance or the movie itself, so their recordedguess hopefuls are still in the mix.

Websites/Oscars please PLAY fair so the Oscars doesn't become a bigger joke.

Hathaway was really good. i can't argue with that. but, man: Tom Hardy. he leapt off the screen in a masked role with only his eyes, voice and body to do the talking.
i hope you just forgot to report his name from WB.

These are largely token campaigns because Warner Bros believe Nolan should get recognition for his work on the trilogy, most of their real campaigning will centre around Argo for BP and some supporting love for Arkin and Goodman. Cloud Atlas is the same.
