No Pixar films were nominated when "Spirited Away" won. Their 2nd loss was to "Happy Feet" in 2006 when "Cars" lost.

Yeah, I hope "Mary & Max" squeaks in there as well. Excellent film and I liked it better than "Up" (which I still *really* liked too).

Disney gave 'Tinkerbell' a one-theater theatrical run because it didn't look like the number of submissions would exceed 16, the amount necessary for there to be 5 nominees instead of just 3. Now we know they had no reason to worry.

Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit won Best Animated Feature Film of the Year in 2006 as well.

I for once really hope Mary and Max takes The Princess And The Frog's (or eve Ponyo's, for the matter) spot as the fifth nominee. I really think it's the best movie of the year.
