What is wrong with him? Is he jealous that this was not one of his concepts? Or that the characters are well developed for viewers to actually love them and cry over them.I apologize for the next statement but I have always hated Scarface. No thing in that movie made me like the characters.I know a lot of people love the movie but maybe that's the difference here.Vince wrote for the audience to like his characters.At any rate Oliver Stone is out numbered here.

I have nothing against Stone but I do think his full of it here. I don't believe he does a good enough job explaining the alleged implausibility. I understand he thinks it's implausible but he doesn't exactly explain why it's implausible , how it's implausible, and what should happened that would made it more believable. But I think if Stone knew anything about the show he'll know it's not just about violence.

It had the strong, silent type lead protagonist, who is of course a former Navy SEAL. And no, I am not making this up. As far as I'm concerned, SAVAGES was so awful, Oliver Stone has relinquished his right to have his critical opinion respected. But that's just MY opinion. And yes, those statements are highly hypocritical and reek of envy. Also… it's just mean-spirited.

Stone makes sense. Forget his reputation (which also includes making some great cinema), the final shootout was ridiculous for a show that's attempted to stay tough and gritty. It was as fantastical as Badger and Skinny Pete playing around with the lasers. Such drastic tonal shifts inside one episode.

Stone hasn't made a good movie since JFK. Natural Born Killers was absurdly violent to the point of not even being enjoyable. Meanwhile, Breaking Bad is a show about a guy living out his violent fantasy, so, yeah, there's no need to call in the realism of the situation; we know it's not real. What a douche. Oliver Stone hasn't been a worth while story teller in 20+ years.

"show it with authenticity" coming from Oliver Stone is the silliest thing ever. To follow it up that character is key, not action, is very true but that's exactly what that machine gun in the trunk was. Walter White/Heisenberg would be such a character to do exactly what he did. If it were Steve Gomez who had done that, yes, that'd be stupid.

If maybe Oliver Stone had watched the preceding 61 episodes, he would've probably softened his words a bit.
