I think your review seems fair. Besides any comedy with a date rape scene definitely falls into the fail category for me. Rape just isn’t funny…not even a “darker” funny. It’s just creepy.

Guys, who cares what anyone else thought of it. But regardless, it has a 63% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That's not exactly high mainstream acceptance and is what, a C+ at best?

Take a quick scan of the reviews up there; a similar sentiment. You gotta love people who just assume you dislike something for something other than the fact that you genuinely disliked it.

There's no agenda, sorry. See what i wrote about the trailer. I thought it was going to be great. Sadly, it was not.

Seems to me like you’re a little obsessed with this movie. For something you thought was pretty awful, seems to be giving you a lot of thought. Or was it that a lot of mainstream press have actually liked it?

SERIOUSLY sometimes your posts read like you're a high schooler typing them out on your phone in between classes. if you want people to take your blog seriously get an editor or at least read what you've written before you post it.

Actually Wells wrote that he was expecting "maybe even a "comedy" without laughs that goes in a much darker and twisted direction than any 21st Century laugher [not laughter as you wrote] has before," though from your post it would seem that's what he thought of the movie.

Also, I would recommend a copy editor, or at least looking over your posts before putting them up. Misspelled names (Mario Cotillard), improper grammar/punctuation, and a general hastiness seem to permeate your posts. You're not at Harry Knowles level, but do yourself and the readers a solid by taking a couple minutes before posting.
