@justsayin excuse me but Assayas has stated several times in various interviews Kristen was first offered a part but never got the script. Mia was actually the second choice. Just sayin.

Only Robert Pattinson fans know this much about Kristen Stewart. But even then, they use fiction as their facts. Oliver A. mentioned this week that Kristen was always his first choice for Val.

Actually Assasayas has said that Kristen was his first choice for Val but the script didn\’t reach her the first time, due to a misunderstanding. They than went with Mia who eventually had to drop out due to other engagements. When Mia was still on board and Kristen had gotten the script they asked her for Chloe\’s part because Assayas wanted her in the movie. I\’m very glad everything worked out the way it did because Juliette\’s and Kristen\’s chemistry was out of this world. And truly a joy to behold. As for the rest: "Judge not lest ye be judged."

@just sayin – kristen was first choice for the role of Valentine but she never got the script in time so when Mia dropped out it allowed kristen to take on the role that Olivier originally wanted her to have.

It\’s ironic the the part Stewart ends up playing was written with Mia Wasikowska in mind, and the part of the trashy tabloid teen was written with Kristen Stewart in mind. Good thing Mia dropped out, freeing up the role for Stewart. And she not only knows about being chased by the paps, she\’s had many bird flipping, obscenity filled run ins with them, all seen on TMZ. I don\’t think anyone will ever forget the 50 pics of her affair with Rupert Sanders, or her snarling about the photographer not being worth of "breathing the same air," as her. Unforgettable.
