They should have hired Charlize Theron , Melissa George , or Naomi Watts. I adore Poppy Montgomery\’s impression of Marilyn Monroe- that is still the gold standard .

What is there to say about her that we haven\’t already heard? I\’m happy the folks at the Playlist were brave enough to say that this script (and the book it was based upon) is most likely fiction, a fantasy from a young man who feel in love with Marilyn from afar. I applaud Williams for giving it her best but she deserves better material than this.

Felt like it was made for t.v. Lead performance was just okay. Branagh has done better work in almost any other movie he\’s been in. Not a good part for him in my opinion. Judy Dench was fine but the part barely registers. This was all hype.
