Circus, you're hilarious. You moan about having to buy all this stuff all over again and then defeatedly admit you're going to anyhow.

Why? No one's holding a gun to your head. More importantly, you're exactly the target (sucker) demo. Someone who's going to buy the same stuff over and over again. The choice is yours and the power is in your hands. No one's forcing you to buy it all up.

Ringo and George never recorded with John in NYC...George played on the IMAGINE LP recorded at John's house in Ascot, UK, and Ringo played on PLASTIC ONO BAND LP recorded in London. After John moved to the U.S., he only recorded with Ringo one other time, the song "The Greatest" (which also featured George on guitar) for his RINGO LP in 1973, and that was recorded in L.A. I believe.

It's a shame that John never returned the favor to George and played on one of his records or that he and Paul never released anything together either...

Do any of the other Beatles make appearances in this film?? John worked with Ringo + George in his solo career, so I'm interested if they're also featured in the film or not.

I didn't even know this was made, and although I'm a big Lennon fan, lately it feels as though they are scraping the bottom of the barrel and the repackaging has gotten out of hand. I didn't even see The US vs. John Lennon because like you mentioned, I didn't feel there was a whole movie there. I mean does this documentary better "Imagine"...if not, then why bother?

This month they are rereleasing all of Lennon's solo albums, individually and as part of a 4 disc set and an 11 disc box. They are also remixing Double Fantasy and calling it the Stripped Down version (like Let It Be..Naked), all in honor of his 70th birthday (or for money). I guess it's all good, but I've already bought one Lennon box set and the Lennon Anthology box set and Lennon Acoustic CD, etc. etc. When will it end?

LennoNYC comes out on DVD on Nov. 23, so I guess I'm gonna buy it.
