He would just go up to the cast and timidly ask, \”So, uh, what do you want to do today?\” When doing the alien scenes he\’d ask about Close Encounters of the Third Kind or Alien and say, \”Yeah, let\’s do something like that!\” He would get too flustered if anyone asked him too many questions and walk off. He would proclaim that he was the third most powerful director in town (after Spielberg and Cameron) and that \”if this succeeds, I can do fucking anything!\” And sometimes he would be playing with his iPad during takes.
