No. Dumping ground season is another way of saying opportunity to release a movie without competition.

'The American', or its original/novel title 'A Very Private Gentleman', sounds like it has the potential to be really interesting for clooney, kind of like the other assassins in 'The Bourne Identity' mixed with 'A Good Year' (Italian and French vineyard scenery comes to mind).

At the worst it would be 'The Peacemaker' (Clooney, Nicole Kidman) and even that is an enjoyable action movie.

Sounds better than the uninteresting movies that came out this past September.

Plus Joe Johnston's Wolfman movie which I believe will be a good bit of old-fashioned atmospheric horror.
