Delighted to see him getting greater opportunities. The same goes for Mendelsohn – I only wish someone would have the balls to cast him as something other than the villain. It\’s such uninspired casting – and actually, as a flat out villain, he\’s not that great. Compare his performance in the Dark Knight Rises vs his performance in Animal Kingdom for example. Perhaps the part in Star Wars is a more nuanced character, but I can\’t imagine it is… But think what a terrific flawed hero he could be. I wish someone would give him a shot at it.
