Oh God, please let this not end up on US Network TV!!! They can barely handle a nipple slip at a football game without going apeshit, what would they do with a sexually emancipated hero who willingly gets seduced by aliens everywhere she goes?
Let's hope it ends up on Showtime or HBO so we can at least enjoy a faithful adaptation of these French works, not some castrated excuse for mainstream American titilation…

I'm not sure I'd say Barbarella is "equally iconic" to Wonder Woman, but I appreciate the gesture. For context, let me explain something about myself, in relation to Barbarella. I own upwards of 30 or so movie posters. Yet, there is currently exactly ONE movie poster adorning the very-limited wallspace of my apartment. Yep: Barbarella.
It's not my favorite movie of all time. It might crack my Top 100 list at best. But I do love the flick, and I fucking love my Barbarella poster more than I can explain.
