Indeed, I saw it myself over here in the UK. It's probably Cage's best film since Bad Lieutenant. It had the potential to be a great, dark thriller. Unfortunately you can see grubby Hollywood fingers all over the last third of the film. Guy Pierce, per usual, is particularly impressive, if underutilized.

I actually saw this last week! It played in my local cineplex in the UK for around 2 weeks and was just simply called Justice.

It's the 2nd Nic Cage film i've seen where he plays a high school teacher, the first one was Knowing and you bet i got a surprise when i read the credits and saw Tobey Maguire's name appear as a producer.

As for the film, it was much better than i expected it to be. In fact, it was much better than it really deserved to be. The premise is ludricuous and it's trash, but enjoyable trash and Guy Pearce as the baddie chewing the scenery was fun to watch!

Oh and the amount of tv stars in this movie – you got peeps from Mad Men, Dexter and Lost! Lol.
