Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End made almost 1 billion dollar, why the "ouch" ? Just because it didn't make as much as the other 2 sequels it doesn't mean it didn't make them bank.

Adjusted for inflation, the 1966 USSR production of "War and Peace" is easily the single most expensive film ever made. Somewhere around a billion dollars just for production costs.

Would be nice to see the breakdown by studio and producer. I'm surprised there's only one Transformers. Bay and diBonaventura must know how to control costs.
