You can see the other at AICN. Of course it depicts the titular character. And of course a film like this is going to have a multipronged marketing approach. More than half of the horror market is female… so they're going to sell the woman in jep/love story plot even if it's not the biggest part of the film.

It's eye-catching and a great compliment to the 2 or 3 trailers, and standard-type posters that will be out.

I agree it shouldn't be the centerpiece of their marketing campaign (I don't think it is though) but it's way better than most character posters that have been released recently for other movies like Sherlock Holmes.
