Who else could have? It's not like the Cnadians harboured the six, came up with the plan and took all the risk IN IRAN for over almost three months while Mendez and the CIA set-up the fake studio back safely in LA. Yes, Mendez flew to Tehran at the end to get them out, but to imply that he and the CIA were the heros is insulting to those that actually put the lives on the line to hide and evacuate the US diplomats. The original post script implied that Taylor and the Canadians took the credit and didn't deserve it. No wonder Canadians were pissed off. What a slap in the face.
