1. it was buried at the bottom of a Variety article about other stuff. They didn't trump

2. They pulled it almost immediately, they weren't supposed to say so.

3. We made notice of that, made some calls and found out who Schwartzman plays in the film, the main villain in the film, which turned out to be correct.

That's how we "essentially" -- notice the word -- broke the story. What's even better is that many others saw our story and pretended like they noticed all that themselves and or "heard" was his role was going to be which of course is total BS.

Ask anyone actually involved in the production and they will tell you that every draft was co written by Bacall and Wright together. They first started on it before Hot Fuzz even.

I bring you hard facts.

Because it was leaked out by a UTA assistant with the wrong cover sheet - wrong title, wrong credits.

This is what happens when assistants are told to retype watermarked scripts.

Little known fact. The original draft of the script was written by Bacall and Wright. The leaked draft was wrongly titled as "Scott Pilgrim's Precious Life" and incorrectly credited to Bacall only.
