A disaster? I'm going to have to disagree with you, Kate. Believe it or not, I actually believe there's hope for this. Ubisoft, unlike other video game companies who have converted their franchises to movies, actually care about their fans. They're making sure they have complete creative control over what goes on, ensuring the future film stays true to the video game's roots and original story line. In fact, they got into a huge disagreement with Sony over who got the creative rights and ultimately told Sony to piss off. With Michael Fassbender on board, who is an incredible actor, Ubisoft might just be able to break the video game movie curse. Assassin's Creed is my favorite video game of all times and I have faith in Ubisoft.
