Sexy tomboy working that haunted, deep stare. Jennifer Lawrence has an amazing screen presence and I'll see this one because it stars Lawrence and she will give a great performance as usual.

It seems to me that instead of all the other directors jumping on the bandwagon now that Jennifer is a huge success, Mark Tonderai actually proved that he has great taste by casting her in his movie. The fact that he can cast well makes me think the movie has a chance of good. The playlist's writers are a very elitist bunch of tossers in my opinion, and largely tend to suck up to name directors or pretentious and arty movies made by their friends. All pretty shameful.

In fact, long before Lawrence was even nominated for Best Actress. My guess is Lawrence will elevate the material because she's a very fine actress. All actors make a film like this early in their careers (what was she 19?)…it's like you said, it's what Lawrence is doing now that counts and Lawrence has indeed moved on to bigger and better things. Speaking of which, when will we see a trailer for Silver Linings Playbook?/Serena?.
