Amateurity will be there because it is his first film and also he is so young. but the idea of this film is mind blowing. I wish he kept the title "how to catch a monster" because that title is much more interesting than "Lost river" and for the record film doesnt revolves around eva mendes. the lead actors are iain de caestecker, christina hendricks, matt smith and saiorse ronan

Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly why he did it in Detroit and not because tons of movies are being made there :sarcasm:. He's mediocre in every way and I will never understand the praise. This already looks like a mess.

And yeah, Eva Mendes being in a movie already guarantees that it will flop and basically suck.
