I thought he was bigger, broader. He looks skinny and puny. I thought the runes were going to look more like brandings. They look like bad tattoos.

But I did read Ender's Game. And what struck me was how little is described about the world, as in, details of how things look. This left a huge about of book left to tell the real story. What what actually happening to Ender. In him. To him as a person. I loved that a lot about the book.
But this also makes it hugely interpretable visually. And for me this doesn't really work… Hard to say.

I hope they kept the scenes on the raft? or the lake? Can't really remember but those were nice.
