I've been very used to watching Saoirse Ronan play young and innocent roles (well, excluding Hanna 'coz I actually haven't seen that one yet) so I can't really wait to see her take on mature and tough roles like in The Host. Plus, I've also already read the book and I actually did love it so I've really been pining to see how it would be like once it's finally brought to life on the big screen. Don't get me wrong though. I love Saoirse but I do have a few reservations as to how she would fare in this movie but then again, she's had quite a lot of successful movies in the past so I'm kind of crossing my fingers that she'd be able to pull tis one off, too. Really, I just can't wait for the movie to come out now. 🙂

Jake Abel a "new comer", I guess you didn't see the movie "I Am Number Four"
He played a punk Quarterback – turned good guy at the end.

The date is actually March 29. May I ask what makes you think it's not generating the same attention as Twilight or THG? I would like to know how you determined this. I thought it may have been it's not being geared toward teenagers but more to sci-fi crowd, but you may have a different take on it.
