The Wikipedia thing was nonsense and included Mel Gibson as "The Drifter" and I'm the one who edited it months back to what it says now based on that George Miller has NEVER said the film was a sequel or "interquel" whatever.

Sadly AICN, JoBlo etc are now picking up on this as "news" when it's all old and misinformation.
