@malcom x it should be released in theaters On the east coast in July and west coast in August.

It is my belief based off my readings of marlon brando and research that undoubtably he new that one day these tapes may be used to tell his story. In the begining of the film he does suggest that one day they\'ll use his digitized face to tell his story. I believe your review was quite accurate. I also felt that perhaps Steven Riley was "rushing" brando and I also agree the film portrayed him "loosing his will to be a contender". However I do not believe that to be true. I think the gloominess in the energy of the film misleads us to think that there was a "rise and fall" in his will to be a "contender" but in fact his continued action in human rights and inventions to better the planet never ceased even after his death. The 100% self sustaining hotel in Tahiti for example was only possible because of his continued efforts of scientific research, experiments, and inventions. Ofcourse his continued love for all his children and grandchildren on top of his human rights efforts inspire me to believe his spirit was as strong a "contender" as his early days. Again I believe these details were missing in the doc and that his genius as a man was also not very present. After all he spoke fluent French, Spanish and near fluently Japanese and German. Howbeit, I think the documentary though having a meloncholic undertone and missing some strong positive energy, still paints a great picture of a great man. I highly recommend it and can\'t wait to see it again.
