However, It will open for 1 week in NY/LA as a whole 4-hour movie (with an intermission) in the U.S. in December and then the two films will open in January, 2009 in semi-limited release around the rest of the country. It’s probably safe to say that it won’t be in your average megaplex though and you’ll have to be in a big city to see it.
