The only person I can see coming close to capturing the tone of the Zelda games is Guillermo Del Toro. This Game of Thrones comparison is kind of whack — "talking head" Zelda should be avoided at all costs.

If Dane DeHaan doesn\’t play Link you can call it a day. Link doesn\’t speak so for it to work you\’d have to have somebody real good. If this gets a good team behind it I\’ll be thrilled.

No thanks. Either adapt a diff video game/book universe or maybe try being original and writing a completely fresh, new fantasy story/universe.
Though the Zelda universe is compelling and rich, it won\’t translate to well to screen.
