There is another rule, in France, that if a movie has been shown in Cannes it has to wait 3 YEARS to be broadcasted on a streaming service.

This is so dumb. It’s not like Netflix hasn’t spent a billion dollars at the film market there, and will probably contrinue to do so. Thierry might want to think about that.

All this basically means is Netflix will be creating and sponsoring another film festival in the future for films created by streaming sources like themselves, Amazon, Hulu and who knows who else.
