I realize that everyone’s entitled to their own opinions, but I WHOLEHEARTEDLY disagree with yours that “Alien Resurrection” was better than “Covenant”. I think the latter was far superior to the former (however, like you, I’m a huge fan of all the “Alien” franchise installments, and have all of them on Blu-ray).

What I’m most sad/concerned about now is, because “Covenant” did not perform better at the box office, we may now never get another movie in the series.

Yep, it’s my opinion and I stand by it! I’m a huge Alien fan and even 3 and 4 (IMO) were miles better than covenant. James Cameron should have been tapped for the prequals. Oh well.
