What a crazy ride this movie is, McConaughey deserves a Supporting Actor nod for his eerie and completely demented portrayal of Joe. But I can't say I don't understand the rating. My girlfriend at the time didn't want to speak to me for a good few hours after I dragged her to it and told her I loved it.
