Why is this a “horrible idea”? It makes tickets $3.33 for those 3 movies. Still a HUGE savings. And if they can continue to operate this way then its like having a small monthly discount ticket book. Its not as good as before, but it is still a deal especially for those of us without a ton of AMC’s around for their stubbs pass thing.

They are in living in the Faux dream world that venture capitalism provides. All these endless “The Next Thing” / “Disruptive Technology” fake companies reminds one of the dot com, dotcom, dotcom “boom”. And when “Digital” was the buzz word. Digital WHAT ? Dotcom What ?

I think the new model sounds a lot better. Basically back to the original no film restrictions but limited to 3x per month. More than fair for $10.

I read elsewhere they won’t have the two week blackout for new movies, or the price increase or the peak pricing. So it’s back to its original form but just limited to three movies now. I’m fine with that as opposed to the other stuff. I’ll still save 20 bucks a month and if I want to see more movies I can just pay for matinees.
