I have been a Flash fan my entire life, and If they use the rebooted origin for Barry where his mother is killed and his father is framed for it then I think I might actually kill someone. That retconn was so dumb and against everything the character stands for. Barry Allen is the flash because he grew up reading comic books and playing superhero, he loves every second of being The Flash, he's a comic fan living out all his wildest fantasies… I can't stand the new 52 and if they take the Flash Rebirth angle for the flick then all is lost. They should play up the time travel aspect of the character and make it like 12 Monkeys or La Jetee or Terminator with superheros. Thats the Flash that needs to be on screen

I think they should ask the script to be written.
Just write it and see. Flash I think is done by John August.

I agree, the idea that superman is batman's inspiration is just plain dumb. nolan got it right the first time around, i fear this reboot is going somewhere it should'nt.

I hope Nolan doesn't go anywhere near this. He alread told the Batman myth as good as it be told and frankly the Batman inspired by a superman idea is semi-blasphemous. Plus there's almost no way Snyders NOT going to direct it…
