I want a sequel, but I want it to be a little bit more light hearted. They went a little too Dark for most people to enjoy it fully. I think Henry Cavill is the best available actor to play as Superman right now. I think in a sequel his character will have more of a personality.

It's Snyder. I think Watchmen in the Blade Runner of superhero films. Not only that, but during the 'Manhattan flashback/forwards sequence, I swear I saw shades of Kubrick. In short I think it's a masterpiece. Others, however shat on it. They derided it as gay because there was a mans penis on the screen for approximately fourteen seconds etc. Sucker Punch? Fantasy girlfriend and her friends try to find a key? I loved that film for the sheer fact it was an explosive mess. Snyder's films tend to polarize. Man of Steel isn't even out and people are slagging it on the basis of other peoples opinion. Telling and sad.

I haven't seen the film yet, but if your main critique is that the S does not stand for Superman according to Kal-El, it seems to me someone is looking for something to whine about. All in all, these reviews give me hope (with a darn S!).

That last one is clearly not anyone who knows Superman. The S hasn't stood for Superman in a looking time. Looking time. Not even in the overrated 1978 film.
