I didn\’t mean Cynthia Rothrock was "More on their level" to mean that she was washed up & 70 years old. No. I meant, she\’s closer to their age and used to do action films. I\’m a Cynthia rothrock fan. I just wanted to clear that up.

BillyOne, I agree. I even heard they wanted Jennifer Lawrence or something. It doesn\’t make sense. As for Jovovich, you\’re right, she\’s still doing Resident Evil films, which are making good money. And she\’s in her 30\’s. Why would she are her image prematurely by being in a film with washed up male stars who are in their 70\’s. I agree that Cynthia Rothrock would be perfect for this because she\’s more on their level. Or Pam Greer. Jovovich needs to try to stay relevant, not align herself with older men who are washed up.

Spoon, sorry to burst your bubble but the Expendables is a retirement home for old actors. Jovovich is still out there making actual hits. Stallone "and the boys" are not.

Not sure if Jovovich is really an asset. The first Resident Evil movie was okay, the rest and the Three Musketeers were garbage. As long as her husband stays away, I don't think it'll be a bad thing though. I enjoyed the Expendables films for what they are, I never expected anything but things blowing up and people kicking ass 🙂

I thought these movies are for actors whose acting careers dried up. Milla is still cranking out those Resident Evil movies. If the producers need a female action star, they should get Pam Grier, Sigourney Weaver or Cynthia Rothrock.

Die Hard and Predator and Road Warrior are some of the greatest films of all time, fuck you Jagernauth, you condescending jackass. The Expendables movies are awful because they're shitty modern incoherent post-action movies in boring eastern europe locations and nothing like actual 80s action movies and do nothing interesting with their concept. They just take a bunch of old icons and have them stand around and go "remember all the good movies we were in." But this basic understanding of action movies would require you to put down the black and white swedish existentialist shit occassionally and broaden your horizons.
