Got a Tip?

Mila Kunis Joins Paul Haggis’ ‘Third Person’; James Franco & Casey Affleck Also In Talks

nullPaul Haggis' next film, "Third Person," seems to be moving onward in fits and starts. With sporadic updates throughout last year, this spring the movie started firmly moving foward when Liam Neeson and Olivia Wilde boarded, with Jude Law rumored for a part as well and then….not much else. But it seems the wheels are turning once again with some exciting new names now ready to lend their talents.

Mila Kunis has joined the movie, with James Franco and Casey Affleck in negotiations for what is shaping up to be a very interesting ensemble. Described as a global romantic drama that will follow three storylines/love stories set in New York, Paris and Rome, further plot details are being kept tightly under wraps. All that we know thus far is Neeson will play a writer and Wilde a New York gossip columnist, but that's about it. However, with the movie headed to TIFF to drum up sales, perhaps more details and casting will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Should everything come together as planned, the relatively low-budget $28 million film will shoot in October. While Haggis can be divisive, we are certainly intrigued by this line-up. And if anything, we're really glad to see Casey Affleck on a tear, shooting two movies already this summer (Scott Cooper's "Out Of The Furnace" and "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" with Rooney Mara and Ben Foster). No word yet on if Law will come back into the mix, but hopefully we'll know more soon. [The Wrap]
