I remember BBC had a lot of filmmakers submit their top 10 favorite films of all-time. Michael Mann had Avatar, alongside the usual names like Citizen Kane, raging Bull, Apocalypse Now, Batteship Potemkin, The Wild Bunch, etc. He really loves that movie!
