The headline mentioned "The recut Blackhat" so where\’s the information? Nothing about Blackhat was mentioned except the empty reflection on men staring off into the ocean. WTF?

Bill – I\’ve read it, and I agree with you. I sometimes try to read Brody under the assumption that such a widely-cited critic must be of some worth. Then I remember why he\’s not.

Has anyone read Richard Brody\’s "The Stylish, Empty Realism of Michael Mann"? The kind of "criticism" I don\’t like – dismisses Mann wholesale but, frustratingly, Brody does seem to engage with this films. Clearly they don\’t resonate with him..
