Actually, the other band that shows up in the series is "Crash and The Boys", who later became "the boys and crash".

But before "Sex bob-Omb", Scott's first band was "Sonic & Knucles", who had a female lead singer-guitarrist.

But I agree with you that the song might be "played" by The Clash at Demonhead, basically 'cause Bryan Lee O'Malley openly used Emily Haines looks on Envy Adams.
