I'll root with Craig on hoping this could prove something to Mr. Bay, but then I remember that Michael doesn't have to/need to change his mind on his action film style. Why?

The inherent beauty/annoyance of film is that you can shoot whatever you want. Just like any artistic medium, there is no fully 'right' or 'wrong' way of doing things. Yes, there are many guidelines to working with credibility, but defying them is completely allowed and often encouraged.

So if trigger-happy people like Michael Bay want to film 'action for action's sake', I say go right ahead. And if Disney wants to take the same formula and dumb it down for the masses, then let them do it.

But I know I won't pay for either with my time or money.
