It'll be interesting to see if it beats The Dark Knight's domestic gross.
Avatar will probably get over $30 million this weekend and maybe much more so that should put it around $420 gross. It needs to get to $533 to beat TDK's domestic gross, which still seems a bit out of reach. But there's probably at least 4 or 5 more weekends of double digit box-office returns for Avatar. I mean 'The Blind Side' has had 7 weekends so far of over $10 million dollar grosses.
