First off, they aren\'t a \"moribund 90s band.\" They\'ve considerably surpassed their 90s incarnation with their post 2005 material.

Secondly there are two videos, a band version, and an x-men version. The band version is the better video.

Thirdly, this is all irrelevant to Americans/Canadians where both of these videos are blocked, and the song is not and will not be for sale here so you\'ll probably never get to hear it unfortunately. I also heard from people that have seen the movie in US and Canada that the song is not even in the credits of the movie.

I\'m not sure what country this blog is from. The only reason I had any interest in this film was because of Take That\'s involvement, so the promo worked for this woman anyway. But I\'m disappointed the song will not be on there if I go see it anyway.

If you are in Europe, well than I guess the article was pertinent to you. Take That\'s representation in the American market is non-existent, and they don\'t seem to be in a hurry to do anything about that.

What Vaughn/Take That did with Stardust worked really amazingly well, but you wouldn\'t know that unless you lived outside of N.America. He showed them the movie and they wrote the song the next day. Rule The World is a great song that had far more success and longevity than the movie. That song was really tailored for the film though. Love Love is not as suited to x-men, but it\'s still a really catchy song. I guess if Vaughn wanted this to work world wide a la Armageddon, he should have rang Diane Warren up to write another one for Aerosmith to sing.

If he wants women to go and see the film, maybe he should think about, you know, decently written female characters played by decent actresses instead of a moribund 90s band.

\"So it’s pure commerce, to be blunt, and I want women to see this film.\"

and that, my friends, is how easily your favorite artists convince themselves that THEIR particular reasons for being a sell-out hack are okay reasons.
